Steps to create an up-to-date recipe report with fields that focus on nutritional information

Important – we advise that you always use the existing report configuration called “Recipes Report With Targeted Fields”. The New Export menu action should not be used for this task.

  1. From the Admin toolbar  (black bar on left)…select the All Export > Manage Exports option. It’s near the bottom of the toolbar. This will present the list of reports.
  2. Find the report configuration called “Recipes Report With Targeted Fields”
    • Click the Run Export button to start the process of downloading the report.
  3. Note, there is an option to specify the file name at the bottom of the Configure Advance Settings section.
  4. Click Confirm & Run Export. You’ll see a progress bar as the report is generated.
  5. Once complete, from the Download tab, click the CSV button.
    • Note, you can access the report via the public link. Copy and share it with team members.

Steps to adjust the CSV file so it’s easy to see the saturated fat values.

In your downloaded CSV file, sort the columns to group the recipes with saturated fat.

  1. We recommend freezing the top row (View > Freeze Panes > Freeze Top Row) and making the font bold.
  2. Look for the columns that have saturated fat as a nutritional item. Assuming you have not modified the report configuration, it should be Column W – Nutrition Item 2.
    • Note, there is the possibility that Saturated Fat can be stored in another column but it appears to be in column W.
  3. Select Data > Sort to group all recipes with saturated fat as the nutritional item in a particular column.
    • In Column – Sort by, select <Nutrition Item 2> and Order A to Z
    • Click Add Level
    • In Column – Then by, select <Nutrition Item 2 Value> and Order Z to A. This will order the recipes in decreasing amounts of saturated fat.
    • To hide all other nutritional items, filter the column to show only Saturated Fat (or whatever nutritional item you are looking for). Turn on the column filter controls using the Data > Filters option and only check Saturated Fat.
