Soft Pretzels
Make soft pretzels from scratch! Create these pretzels with your kids or friends as a fun activity together.

Ingredients
1 package dry yeast
¾ cup warm water
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons fat-free milk
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- In a large bowl, mix yeast and warm water.
- Mix in sugar and flour. Knead in bowl until smooth, about 10 minutes.
- Place dough on a floured surface and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a rope 12 inches long. Shape each rope into a pretzel.
- Place on a greased baking sheet, brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned.
- Cool on a rack.
