Soft Pretzels

Ingredients

1 package dry yeast

¾ cup warm water

1 tablespoon sugar

2 cups bread flour

2 tablespoons fat-free milk

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix yeast and warm water.
  3. Mix in sugar and flour. Knead in bowl until smooth, about 10 minutes.
  4. Place dough on a floured surface and divide into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Roll each piece into a rope 12 inches long. Shape each rope into a pretzel.
  6. Place on a greased baking sheet, brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned.
  8. Cool on a rack.
