This Mediterranean-inspired seasoning may conjure up images of sun-drenched patios, azure waters, and flavorful fresh food. Oregano is a popular herb in Greek cuisine and can be found growing in almost every kitchen garden in that country. Do not omit oregano from the seasoning mix if you want an authentic taste.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons dried oregano

1 tablespoon dried thyme

2 teaspoons dried rosemary, finely chopped or crushed

2 teaspoons dried basil

1 teaspoon dried marjoram

1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil, marjoram and parsley until well combined.
  2. Transfer the seasoning mixture to a small container with a lid.
  3. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
