Iced Tea with Orange and Mint
This refreshing iced tea is the perfect cool drink on a hot day. While many flavored iced teas have added sugar and phosphorus, this version uses fresh orange and mint leaves instead.

½ gallon boiling water
4 black tea bags
2 large oranges, washed and sliced
2 large sprigs fresh mint leaves, washed
Instructions
- Combine the boiling water and tea bags. Set aside to brew to desired strength, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
- Add the orange slices and mint and return to the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
- Serve over ice.
Cooking Tip
You can mix it up by using lemons, limes and fresh basil instead.
