Green Kiwi Smoothie
This vibrant green smoothie is made with fresh wholesome ingredients like kiwi and kale. It is a great source of vitamin C, and a delicious way to add fruits and greens to your day!

1 cup water
½ avocado, peeled, pitted, and chopped
1 kiwi, peeled and chopped
½ cup fresh or frozen kale, stemmed and chopped
2 tablespoons almonds
2 ice cubes
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Place the water, avocado, kiwi, kale, almonds, and honey (if using) in a blender, and blend until smooth.
- Add the ice cubes, and blend until thick and smooth.
- Pour into two tall glasses and serve immediately.
Cooking Tip
You’ll only be using half an avocado in this recipe, so store the remainder for another recipe or for cutting up over a salad. To avoid discoloration, place the avocado half in a container with some chopped onion, and tightly seal the container.
Simply leave out the honey to make this recipe vegan.
