Green Goddess Dressing

This flavored, creamy version makes the dressing rich and tangy while enjoying a sweet scented fragrance from the herbs and the citrus. It will be delicious on top of any food.

½ cup yogurt
½ cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon lime zest
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper, ground
1 clove garlic
½ cup dill, fresh, chopped
¼ cup basil, fresh, chopped
Special Equipment:
Food processor or blender
Instructions
- Combine yogurt, buttermilk, oil, lime juice, lime zest, salt, pepper, garlic, dill, and basil in a food processor or blender.
- Blend until mixture is smooth.
- Serve in a bowl as a dip with some crudites, as a salad dressing or condiment to a burger, onion rings or other plain food that needs a lift.
Cooking Tip
You can add any other favorite green herbs or exchange them for the ones you already have in your fridge. It will keep for up to one week in the refrigerator.
