Ginger Apple Bites
Like a tiny and moist muffin—a slightly sweet and bite-sized treat.

Ingredients
1-ounce dried apples
3-ounces unsweetened, plain applesauce
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
½ cup flour or gluten free flour
¾ teaspoon dried ginger
¾ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
⅛ teaspoon ground allspice
Pinch of coarse salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Place dried apples into a food processor and pulse to small chunks.
- Add all remaining ingredients and gently pulse until fully combined. Scrape the sides frequently.
- Move to a bowl and let rest 5 minutes for flour to absorb the moisture.
- Scoop 1 tablespoon each and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes on the top rack, until cookies appear dry and are firm to the touch.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely on the pan.
Cooking Tip
The Bare® brand of dried apples were used for this recipe, however any dried apples can be used!
