Cheese Quiche

The perfect dish to satisfy your cheese craving. With it low in potassium, you’ll also be able to please that cheese lover in your life.

Ingredients
¼ cup onions, chopped
4 eggs, slightly beaten
⅛ teaspoon pepper
½ cup of half and half mixed with ¾ cup of water
3-ounces cheddar cheese, grated
1 teaspoon parsley leaves
1 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Sauté onions in a frying pan.
- In a large bowl, combine ingredients and mix well.
- Pour into prepared, unbaked pastry shell.
- Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour or until puffy and set.
- Cool 10 minutes before cutting into 8 slices.
Cooking Tip
Serve with two slices of low sodium bacon or a 1/4 cup of fruit
