5 cups water
2 cinnamon sticks
1 (2-inch) piece ginger, peeled and sliced
1 (2-inch) piece tumeric, peeled and sliced
5 black peppercorns
- Pour the water into a medium saucepan and set over medium heat.
- Add all the spices and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve warm or chilled. Enjoy!
