It’s true that various potassium binders have different onset of action time. However, for outpatient use, as long as you are taking the medication at the same time each day, the effectiveness of the medication should carry over until the next time you take the medication. But, if your doctor did not recommend for you to take the medication daily, please reach out to your doctor to find out what those recommendations would be for you.
