Cauliflower and Broccoli

1 cup cauliflower, chopped
1 cup broccoli, chopped
¾ cup carrots, chopped
1 cup water
⅛ teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons red onion, minced

Instructions
- Place cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots into a steamer basket.
- Add 1 cup water and steam vegetables until tender crisp. There should be a slight resistance when piercing with a fork. Check after 8 minutes.
- Mix the garlic salt, garlic powder, and butter together. Set aside.
- Place steamed vegetables into a bowl and add the butter mixture and onions.
- Stir well to melt the butter and distribute the onions.
- Place ½ cup into a bowl. Serve hot.
Cooking Tip
If you are looking for something quick, simply substitute fresh vegetables with 1½ cups of frozen mix instead.
